Issues | Building What’s Next – Together
To serve people means listening intently, problem-solving, removing barriers, addressing inequities, taking actionable steps to improve outcomes, being more inclusive, and celebrating diversity.
I believe government should be transparent, responsive, and deeply connected to the people it serves. I’m committed to using my experience in technology, economic development, and community leadership to help Vermont grow stronger, fairer, and more affordable for everyone.
AFFORDABILITY & FAIRNESS
Housing. Taxes. Economic Opportunity. Working Families. Seniors.
Vermonters sent a clear message: affordability isn’t a talking point – it’s a daily reality. We need to tackle the cost of living head-on while strengthening the systems that support families, workers, and seniors. That means investing in housing people can actually afford, expanding access to childcare, reforming outdated tax structures, and ensuring small towns have the resources they need to thrive.
INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY
Consumer Protection. Data Privacy. Artificial Intelligence. Cybersecurity. Broadband.
Technology should serve people – not exploit them. I’ve worked nationally on emerging tech and privacy policy, and I’ll continue pushing for laws that protect Vermonters’ data, hold companies accountable, and prepare our workforce for the jobs of tomorrow. Broadband must be reliable, affordable, and universal so that rural communities can stay connected to opportunity.
RURAL & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Small Business. Entrepreneurship. Infrastructure. Education. Workforce.
The strength of Vermont’s economy begins with its small towns and local businesses. We need to build pathways for entrepreneurship, make it easier to start and grow businesses, and connect public investments to real community outcomes. That includes supporting career and technical education, expanding continuing education options, and ensuring that economic opportunity reaches every corner of our state.
COMMUNITY HEALTH & WELLBEING
Mental Health. Addiction Recovery. Public Health. Reproductive Rights. Aging with Dignity.
A healthy Vermont means caring for the whole person. We must expand access to mental health and addiction recovery services, protect reproductive freedom, and ensure that seniors can age with dignity and support. Health care should be equitable, affordable, and available close to home.
CLIMATE, ENVIRONMENT & RECREATION
Clean Energy. Conservation. Water Quality. Outdoor Access. Climate Resilience.
We are stewards of one of the most beautiful states in the nation. Protecting Vermont’s air, water, and forests is both a moral and economic imperative. We can build resilience by investing in clean energy, improving local infrastructure, and supporting outdoor recreation as a driver of health and economic vitality.
DEMOCRACY & GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY
Civic Engagement. Ethics. Accountability. Accessibility.
Government should feel accessible to everyone, not just those who know the process. I believe in open communication, ethical leadership, and modern, transparent systems that make it easier for Vermonters to see how decisions are made and how their voices shape them.
MY APPROACH
Listen first. Lead with empathy. Focus on solutions.
That’s how I’ve served as a Representative, and it’s how I’ll continue as your Senator – building what’s next, together.
